We got an interview with Alexz Johnson, currently starring in series Instant Star airing on Boomerang. Enjoy!

Did you attend as your character, Jude Harrison, several talent contests when you were young ? I did! I have always loved the stage and performing on it.

In Instant Star, Jude's sister felt jealousy towards her. In real life, how's your realtionship with your sibblings ? Great! I get a lot of support from my family and they have the abilty to understand people's talent.

In Instant Star, Jude's father push the fate of his daughter's fame. It's something kind of frequent with young girls, what do you think about that ? I saw that happening with people close to me and I do not tolerate it. In my case, being in a family of ten kids, I got opportunities to convince my mom letting me go to talent contests. And I got lucky to have supporting parents who let me do what I liked.

What's the best part of being famous ? I'm not that famous, but I'd say that the ability to touch people with my musique is what I prefer.

And the worst ? The lack of privacy..

Do you prefer acting or singing ? Music is my #1 passion.

What do you do when you're not traveling ? I like practising yoga, hanging out with my friends, trying new food, going to shows and doing vintage shopping.
