Part of five song demo that secured us a U.S major record deal with Capitol Records. Originally called Damaged, it is a shadow of an earlier song called “Shutting You Out”. It was created with Freestyle vocals, a world drum beat, and 1950′s inspired melodies.
RUNNING WITH THE DEVIL
This was such a personal song. A friend in my life who was going through a tough time inspired me lyrically. I later found out that Brendan was influenced by the end credits of a 80′s movie. which featured a reggae style score. This will always be a favorite of ours.
