Kiah – From the amount of email, calls, and texts we’ve been getting already this week, Alexz Johnson has already got a massive fan base around the world.
Tara – Alexz, I hear you’ve been song writing since you were 15 years old so what kinda events in your life inspired those first couple of songs?
Alexz – Oh man, so many. Um I’d say definately being in the middle of 10 kids sparked a lot of angst. no (laughs) Um, it is tons like lots of course love and I watched a lot of my older siblings experience things from a young age and Just being around so many different dynamic personalities and experiences in my life its was just kinda a way for me to communicate how I felt was through writing and lyrics

Alexz would be happy to hear that she’s got some really loyal fans! For our Best of BC artist of the week, we schedule their song at various times throughout the week to get as much exposure for them as possible to all the different audiences (morning drive into work/school, daytime, afternoons). In other news, Virgin radio Vancouver played the single Trip Around The World and recorded an interviw with Alexz which will air today during Kiah and Tara Jean’s show between 3-6 Pacific Time!
